Song Partners is proud to introduce James Allen James Allen lives in New York with his wife and daughter. He has been involved in sales for most of his career. James says he’s been writing poems and lyrics since he was thirteen years old. He got the "bug" to write after a poem he submitted in seventh grade was well received. James likes sports, boating and almost every type of music. He enjoys reading, especially history related books, and loves to travel when he can. Most of his work is inspired by family members and acquaintances. James writes best when he is at home and does so mostly for the fun of it. His biggest thrill would be just knowing that his song has affected someone in a personal way.
Wrong
A hundred times I’ve told this story About how I’m not coming back Of course you never do believe me 'Cause it has never come to that
You count on my accepting That you’ve changed forever And I’ll come running home But you were wrong
You have no explanation And you’re sorry for the lack You say this time you’ll be different But I know that’s not a fact
You thought I could be happy With your part time lovin’ And I’d be back by dawn But you were wrong
Just a little passion is what I’m looking for Just enough to keep me from walking out that door
Now, you’re sure you know the ending I’ll keep trying just once more You think tomorrow I’ll be with you Cause it’s what I’ve done before
A few kisses and I’m sorry’s You think will make me feel that… It’s here where I belong But you were wrong This time you were wrong
