Promotions Package

Meet Song Partners' Promotions Artists

Taking Your Song to the Next Level

Since many of our customers have been asking if we would market their music for them, Song Partners is now offering an optional Promotional Package. This package is designed for those artists who do not have the time, connections, or the knowledge to market their own songs. It will uniquely expose your music to a wide group of companies and people so that you won’t have to do the work yourself.  Its ultimate goal is to get your song in front of the right people who will, hopefully, sign you to a legitimate publishing or recording contract.

As a Promotions Artist, your Package Includes the Following:

bullet

Your very own, custom designed Web Page will be attached to the Song Partners Web Site. This page will feature your lyrics, biography, photo (if available) and, best of all, your song being played. This promotes your song worldwide to the Music Industry.

bullet

Five copies of your CD will be provided to you so that you may have them available for your own distribution purposes.

We feel this is the most exciting, unique, cost effective and comprehensive marketing tool available.  The cost of designing and implementing your own web page could be worth the price alone.  If you are considering a way to market your song(s) to the Music Industry, this may be the answer you are looking for.

Questions & Answers

Can't I Promote My Song By Myself?

Absolutely!  In fact, we encourage you to attract attention to your song in every way possible.  Remember, our Promotional Package is optional and for those people who do not have the means to market the music industry by themselves.  If you decide to self promote your song, keep in mind that there are many different aspects of the Music Industry.  It is important to decide which direction best suits your type of music.  For example, if your song is a country tune, you should only contact firms that deal with country music.  Otherwise, you’re just wasting your time and money

What If I’m Contacted By A Recording Or Publishing Firm?

First, examine their contract very carefully. You may want to consult an entertainment attorney.  A legitimate Record or Music Publishing firm should never ask you to put up any of your own money.  If they really believe in your song, they will sell or manage your song for a percentage of the royalties.  Percentages vary.  However a 50% percent split is not uncommon. They may want to sell your song to a recording star or perhaps use your song in a movie or on television.  Either way, if they ask for your money up front, I would think twice before dealing with such a company.

What Response Should I Expect From Song Partners' Promotional Package?

To be honest, you could be contacted quickly, six months from now or never. Even the Beatles were turned down many times before a record company finally took notice of them. This is a highly competitive industry, and patience is extremely important. Rest assured, your song will be promoted and will appear on the Internet as indicated in our contract. Apart from that, Song Partners cannot guarantee the reaction or response of any outside Music Company to which your song is marketed.

How Many Of My Songs Can I Promote On My Web Page?

As many as you would like. There is a 20% discount for each additional song promoted on the same Web Page at the same time.

How Do I Know If My Song Is Worth Promoting?

Does your song have mass appeal? Will it touch someone’s heart or move someone emotionally? Once you listen to it, do you want to hear it again? Are the lyrics and music catchy? Can you picture other people singing your song? If yes, then your song has just as much chance as any other song and is probably worth promoting.

Who Will Be Able To Access My Song Over The Internet?

Anyone, worldwide, who goes to the Song Partners Web Site using Internet Explorer will be able to read your lyrics and listen to your song.
