If they really believe in your song, they will sell or manage your song for a percentage of the royalties. Percentages vary. However a 50% percent split is not uncommon. They may want to sell your song to a recording star or perhaps use your song in a movie or on television. Either way, if they ask for your money up front, I would think twice before dealing with such a company.
